Kevan Barlow, Cedric Houston, Derrick Blaylock and rookie Leon Washington are all in the mix to replace the injured Curtis Martin as the Jets' No. 1 running back. With Martin sidelined for at least the first six weeks of the season with a knee injury, coach Eric Mangini plans -- for now -- to use all four in the season opener at Tennessee. "Whoever the running back is doesn't matter, as long as by the end of the day he helps us win games," Barlow said. "It does not matter to me."

As the AP suggested, Fantasy football fanatics trying to get a handle on it can keep guessing. "That's something that will be evolving, but not just with the running back position, but with all the different positions," Mangini said. Look for the rotation to continue throughout the season -- unless somebody really steps up.
