The Jets' media relations department put out a depth chart that confirmed Jerricho Cotchery will start ahead of Justin McCareins at wide receiver and Derrick Blaylock will be on the field at running back when the Jets run their first play from scrimmage Sunday against the Titans.

The Jets still intend to use a committee approach at halfback, so Kevan Barlow, Cedric Houston and Leon Washington could all cut into Blaylock's touches. ... In a bit of a surprise, rookie Brad Smith is listed at both receiver (third, behind Laveranues Coles and Tim Dwight), and quarterback (fourth, behind Chad Pennington, Kellen Clemens and Patrick Ramsey).
