Vernon Davis, the 49ers' top draft pick broke the fibula in his right leg Sunday and is expected to miss about four weeks. Johnson filled in for Davis and saw his most extensive action of the season. He finished with a team-high seven catches, including a 15-yard touchdown pass in the final seconds. Reported by the San Jose Mercury News

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Davis is known for his blazing speed and ability to shed tacklers after the catch, but Johnson is very capable as well. He missed last season because of a foot injury but led the team with 82 receptions in 2004. ... For what it's worth, Davis vows he'll work hard to minimize his lost time. In the meantime, Johnson should be productive.
