The Facts:
Green will not play in the Chiefs' game Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. Herman Edwards said Monday that Green was "doing better" and might even visit the team sometime this week, but Edwards said Green was definitely out for Sunday's game. Kansas City has declined to speculate when the two-time Pro Bowler will rejoin the team. Reported by the Associated Press
