The Facts:
Owens left the hospital earlier this morning. Both NFL Network analyst (and Owens friend) Deion Sanders and ESPN analyst (and Owens friend) Michael Irvin (Sanders is currently with Owens; Irvin has spoken with Owens this morning) are reporting on their respective networks that Owens vehemently denies attempting suicide. Owens will hold a 12:30 pacific time press conference at Cowboys headquarters.  Reported by FootballDiehards.com

According to both Sanders and Irvin, Owens claims the initial police report is the result of a huge misunderstanding. Owens continues to maintain the problem was the result of a bad reaction to pain medication. ... For what it's worth, Bill Parcells' news regularly scheduled news conference will be held before Owens'. Parcells isn't expected to address Owens -- but all indications are the star receiver hasn't been ruled out for this week. ... Stay tuned. We'll bring you more as developments warrant.
