According to the team's official web site,Jones has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jets. Jones was unable to practice on Wednesday or Thursday, bothered by groin and hamstring strains. Reported by Jaguars.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The move comes as no real surprise. Jack Del Rio made no secret of the fact he was considering holding Jones out this week in order to let the second-year receiver make full recovery before the Jaguars return to action on Oct. 22 in Houston. The Jaguars have a bye next week. Reggie Williams and Ernest Wilford will be asked to cover for Jones' absence.
