FOXSports.com has learned that Robinson recently received a letter from the NFL informing him that he was being hit with a one-year suspension for violating the NFL's Drug and Alcohol Policy, barring an appeal.

Robinson is allowed to play until after his appeal hearing, which is scheduled to take place in the next few weeks. If he loses and the suspension is upheld then Robinson will be suspended immediately after the hearing and the time frame is one year.
