The Facts:
Mike Holmgren said running back Shaun Alexander will be out at least two more weeks with a broken bone in his left foot. Holmgren said Alexander is walking around without pain, but the team wants to make sure the crack mends so it doesn't re-break and require surgery. Reported by ESPN.com

Previous reports indicated Alexander might return for Week 8. I now looks like Holmgren is targeting Week 9. Maurice Morris will continue to start at tailback until Alexnader returns.
