The question doesn’t look to be if Perry is going to play Sunday against Carolina, but where? Before practice Thursday, Perry told reporters what he said last week. He’s ready to play after returning to practice this week for the first time since last season, it’s just up to the coaches.

Last year they often split him out as a receiver and there could be a steady diet of that with only three veteran wide receivers probable for Sunday and one them -- Chad Johnson (shoulder), not practicing. While Johnson is expected to play, but Perry's presence would help.
