Eagles Coordinator Brad Childress Signs 3-Year Extension

The Facts:
Childress signed a three-year contract extension on Friday that will keep him in Philadelphia through the 2008 season. Childress' offense helped lead the Eagles to their first Super Bowl appearance in 24 years, a 24-21 loss to the New England Patriots last Sunday.  Reported by the Associated Press

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Childress joined the Eagles as quarterbacks coach on Jan. 12, 1999 -- one day after Andy Reid was named head coach -- and was responsible for teaching the West Coast offense to then-rookie quarterback Donovan McNabb.
