The Facts:
Leftwich (ankle) did not dress for Sunday's 13-6 victory against the Eagles, but he has every intention of being in the huddle for next week's date with Tennessee. "I'll be full go on Wednesday [at the Jags' next full-scale practice]," he said in the locker room.

Leftwich said Jack Del Rio told him on Thursday that David Garrard would start against the Eagles. Del Rio stressed, however, that Leftwich is his starting quarterback. "How many times have I said that over the last four years? I mean, it's double figures, right?" he asked. "At least this year. Now times four. ..." Fair enough; we'll take the coach at his word for now. But we'll also continue to follow this story and see if he makes good on that statement.
