Asked about Vernand Morency and Brandon Miree during his Monday press conference, Mike McCarthy replied: "[Morency] is getting better, but they're both doubtful. [Miree] still, his range of motion isn't quite where it needs to be, but they'll both be doubtful. But they are improving."

Noah Herron filled in for Morency as Ahman Green's backup and played reasonably well. Herron will continue to handle the No. 2 spot until Morency's back is healed; veteran William Henderson will continue to start at fullback until Miree's injured elbow improves.
