The Facts:
Prospective owner Reggie Fowler made it clear that his group would have no plans to trade Randy Moss, who has been the subject of trade talk since late in the season. "I think we all have to have a set of standards," Fowler said. "I think Mr. Moss is, if not the finest, one of the finest receivers in the league today. And I think he's a winner. ... So I look forward to working with Randy, and I think he'll do all the things we need him to do. I don't know that you take some of the best players in the league and start trading them. We need those people to help us win, and I think Randy's one of those guys."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While Fowler still requires league approval before he gets a hand in these kind of decisions, head coach Mike Tice seems to be on the same page with the new boss. "We don't have any of our players, including our plethora of running backs, on the trading block," Tice announced earlier this week. "We are not shopping anyone on our roster. It's not going to happen. I don't see Randy Moss being anything but a Viking next season." Maybe so, but rumors to the contrary continue to swirl -- with Baltimore and the New York Jets still considered the primary suitors.
