Herman Edwards said he'll know Tuesday whether Green will be cleared to fully participate in all practice drills, seemingly the final step before his veteran quarterback can play. "I'm going to sit down and talk with him," Edwards said, "and see what the doctors say."

Green has been out since Sept. 10 because of a severe concussion and spent another Sunday on the sidelines. His friend Damon Huard had led the Chiefs to a 5-2 record as a starter before Sunday, but the offense sputtered in Miami.
