Appearing on NBC's Football Night America a short time ago, SI's Peter King advised viewers that Favre's consecutive start streak should extend to 252 next weekend despite the elbow injury that knocked Favre out of today's loss to the Patriots in the first half. Reported by FootballDiehards.com

King spoke with the Packers' head trainer shortly after game, who told King the injury wasn't as bad as it looked. That jibes with a report by CBS' James Brown, who suggested earlier today that Favre wouldn't even undergo an MRI. ...
