Gonzalez, who missed Sunday's win over Oakland with a sprained shoulder, took part in the team's Monday walkthrough and hopes to play Thursday.

Asked if he intends to play this week, Gonzalez replied: "Ask the coaches. ..." He didn't elaborate, but Herman Edwards expressed optimism. "[He] got through the walkthrough today. That's one step," Edwards said. "We'll see more tomorrow. ... I'll know more tomorrow on the practice field. I haven't ruled anybody out now." Stay tuned. More as developments warrant.
