The Titans are expected to be without Ben Troupe for the rest of the season after additional tests Tuesday confirmed he has a fractured right ankle.

Troupe isn't expected to need surgery. It was unclear Tuesday night whether he would be placed on injured reserve immediately. Second-year tight end Bo Scaife will get more playing time as a result of Troupe's injury. Scaife is the team's second-leading receiver with 20 catches for 297 yards. Casey Cramer, used primarily as a blocking tight end, is also on the 53-man roster along with tight end Ben Hartsock, who was claimed off waivers from the Colts last month.
