The Facts:
Barring a last-minute breakdown in negotiations, Bledsoe will be the new starting quarterback for the Cowboys in 2005. Multiple league sources confirmed Tuesday night that Bledsoe, whose release by the Buffalo Bills became official earlier Tuesday, has reached agreement in principle with the Cowboys on most of the major components of a contract. Bledsoe will fly to Dallas on Wednesday, meet with coaches and team officials, and likely finish the deal.

Diehards report published last Sunday, owner Jerry Jones is pushing to get Drew Henson on the field, but Bledsoe knows head coach Bill Parcells, who brought the quarterback into the league as the first overall selection (of the Patriots) in the 1993 draft, does not believe in handing players jobs. ...
