The Facts:
Nick Saban said Saturday it would be "difficult" for Brown to play against the Jaguars on Dec. 3 and that the running back may miss "several weeks" with his broken left hand. Brown had surgery Friday to stabilize a fracture in the second metacarpal.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While it was a similar procedure to that of safety Travares Tillman -- who had surgery on Monday is expected back to face the Jaguars -- Saban said positional difference makes it harder for Brown to return as quickly. Saban said the team would not play the Jaguars with just two running backs — Sammy Morris and Travis Minor — on the roster. Patrick Cobbs is on the practice squad.
