I'm trying to protect it a lot and I'm not switching the ball from hand to hand. I'm trying not to hold it with that hand. ..." At this point, it seems like Barber's game has been influenced more by coaching decisions and overall team play than the thumb -- but it is having an impact. It's certainly worth factoring into your closer line-up decisions.
