Frye injured his right wrist and left Sunday's game for one series in the second quarter against the Kansas Chiefs.

Frye, who threw a touchdown pass in the first quarter, was taken to the locker room for X-rays. He returned to the sideline and went back into the game with 5:53 left before halftime. While Frye was getting checked, Derek Anderson, who had only taken one previous snap in his two-year NFL career, took over and completed his first two passes.
