Frye injured his right wrist and came out for the second half wearing a large brace and without his shoulder pads in Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Frye was taken to the locker room for X-rays in the first half, but returned and drove the Browns to a tying TD in the final minute of the half. However, Frye returned to the sideline in a jacket and began the third quarter sitting on the bench. Derek Anderson, who had only taken one previous snap in his two-year NFL career, took over for Frye.
