The Facts:
The Redskins and Jets are in serious trade negotiations and, if a deal is consummated, it would have the teams' top wide receivers changing uniforms. Under terms of the trade proposal, the Redskins would send unhappy wide receiver Laveranues Coles to the Jets, the franchise with which he actually began his career. In return, Washington would get four-year veteran wideout Santana Moss.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While the parameters of the trade appear to be in place, and each club seems satisfied with the terms, there remain several hurdles. Foremost among them, is that the Redskins must first create salary cap room to absorb the hit they will take in a Coles trade. For what it's worth, this comes shortly after Moss' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, began expressing his
desire to get his client a contract extension before the beginning of the 2005 season for more than a year. "It's important that we get something done this offseason, sooner rather than later," Rosenhaus said earlier this week.
