Asource close to the situation said Jones suffered a "full blown" Lisfranc fracture/dislocation. Jones will see a specialist in Charlotte tomorrow and will have surgery in the next three to five days.

Recovery from this type of injury requires a minimum of six months and can take up to a year. Other players have had this injury, including Brian Westbrook, and have missed significant time but made a full recovery. The Lions will have to go into the offseason planning that Jones won't be available at the start of the year.
