Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jones was injured in Sunday's loss to Minnesota and was put on the injured-reserve list Tuesday, ending his 2006 season. Jones has what is known as a Lisfranc midfoot sprain. On a scale of one to three, Bellamy said the injury is a "three-plus," because of the severity and the fact that surgery is required. Yikes. ... The recovery period for Jones is expected to extend into the 2007 reular season and perhaps beyond.
