McGahee returned after missing one series with a head and neck injury against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. McGahee had been knocked woozy and lost a fumble after being leveled by a helmet-to-helmet hit on the Bills' first possession. McGahee returned in the second quarter and had 15 yards on four carries.

McGahee was playing his fourth game after missing two with three broken ribs but is coming off a strong outing, in which had 125 yards and a touchdown in a 31-13 win at the Jets last weekend. ... The fact he was able to return to action is obviously a good sign, but we'll have more on his status going forward after the team comments further.
