Despite Coles' assertion that his injury was minor, Eric Mangini said Coles would see the trainers and go through the same evaluation process all injuries require.

Coles injured his back when sandwiched between two defenders in Sunday's win over the Vikings. It doesn't sound like the injury is major -- initial X-rays were negative -- but we'll continue to follow up and bring you more as developments warrant.
