Talks Between Vikings, Jermaine Wiggins Going Nowhere
(2/26 1:4 PT)

The Facts:
Wiggins, who caught a team-high 71 passes despite missing two games with a broken hand, appears headed for unrestricted free agency, with negotiations on a long-term contract going nowhere.  Reported by the St. Paul Pioneer-Press

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As a seasonlong replacement for injured Jim Kleinsasser, he went on to become the first tight end to lead the team in receptions since Steve Jordan in 1986. Wiggins' 71 receptions were the third-most by a tight end in Vikings history. Mavrikes emphasized that Wiggins likes playing for the Vikings and wants to re-sign with them.
