Vick became the first NFL quarterback to rush for 1,000 yards in a season Sunday. Vick, who needed only 10 yards to reach the mark, gained 17 on his first carry on the Falcons' opening possession.

The milestone came one week after Vick set the league record for yards rushing by a quarterback. He ran for 56 yards in last week's loss to Dallas to pass Bobby Douglass for the mark. Vick showed no sign Sunday of the groin injury that forced him out of the loss to the Cowboys late in the fourth quarter last week.
