The Facts:
During Sundya's game, Fox broadcasters reported that Edwards was playing with a dislocated right thumb -- a report disputed by the Browns. "He was healthy," Crennel said. Another team insider flatly denied the thumb injury.

Some speculated Edwards himself told the broadcast crew before the game that he thought his thumb was dislocated. ... The game started, of course, with Edwards on the bench. Crennel said it was a coach's decision, but WTAM's Andre Knott reported Edwards was disciplined after missing a meeting Friday morning (Edwards attended the Cavs-Pistons game the previous night). Edwards was put into the game with 6:10 left in the second quarter. He caught two passes for seven yards and dropped two passes.
