General Manager Bruce Allen confirmed Sunday night that Johnson would be cut in time to hit the market when free agency commences Wednesday. "Obviously, he's a hero for winning a Super Bowl," Allen said. "Brad Johnson was the general of that offense. His desire to remain a starter is not surprising to us."
