Green told reporters a short time ago that he returned to practice today after being held out Wednesday. Green doesn't anticipate his sore ankle being an issue in Indianapolis on Saturday. "I don't think so," he said. "I practiced today and yesterday was limited. I feel good."

Green is expected to start against the Colts, although Herman Edwards has indicated he won't hesitate to make a change to Damon Huard if Green struggles. ... For what it's worth, Green said missing Wednesday's practice won't hurt him; we would suggest, however, that Huard might have benefited greatly from the extra preparation should Green come up short.
