Less than a week after being named the Colts' non-exclusive franchise player, James, who fired Scott Parker earlier this month, hired Miami-based agent Drew Rosenhaus. Task one is determining the Colts' interest in signing James to a long-term contract. However, the non-exclusive tag allows Rosenhaus to shop James on the NFL's free-agent market starting Mar. 2.

Rosenhaus helped broker the Champ Bailey-for-Clinton Portis deal as Portis' agent. Rosenhaus said he plans to be "very aggressive" to determine the interest other teams have in James.
