The Facts:
Johnson said Monday he'll return to the Carolina Panthers if Dan Henning remains offensive coordinator. When told the team hasn't made any moves with Henning, Johnson replied, "If that's the case, then I'm back."

After the regular-season finale, Johnson said he would not return if Henning was out. He also said he might consider retiring even if Henning stayed. Johnson also took issue with several weekend reports that said he would void his contract and return to Dallas, where he played before joining the Panthers.
"If I'm going to play anywhere next year, it will be with the Carolina Panthers," Johnson said Monday.
