The Facts:
The Jaguars decided to keep Brady, who is due to make a $1.9 million base salary this year, by paying him a $400,000 roster bonus that was due today. Without the bonus, Brady would have become a free agent at midnight Tuesday.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Brady, who missed the first five games last year because of a finger injury and a staph infection, wound up catching only 14 passes. If fellow tight end George Wrighster's recovery from back surgery doesn't go well, Brady's role in the overall offense could increase. He's an excellent blocker and could be a more effective threat in the passing game if he was move involved.
