While Jerry Jones has said he expects to have veteran receivers Terry Glenn and Terrell Owens on the team in 2007, the Cowboys owner and general manager does not expect Bledsoe to be back.

Bledsoe is due a $1 million roster bonus in March and is scheduled to count about $7.5 million against the salary cap if he returns. With Tony Romo having led the Cowboys to the playoffs, the Cowboys feel like they are set at starting quarterback. Bledsoe said late in the season, "lots of things," will go into his decision on whether he would continue to play in Dallas or elsewhere. He has said that he would not want end his career as a backup.
