Former Cardinals coach Dennis Green is scheduled to arrive today in Alameda to interview for the Oakland Raiders' head-coaching job, a source close to the search said Monday. Green hopes to replace Art Shell, who was fired Jan. 4. Reported by the San Francisco Chronicle

According to the Contra Costa Times, the Raiders will interview Chargers wide receivers coach James Lofton. ... In Minnesota, Green worked with Raiders wide receiver Randy Moss -- who reiterated his desire to be traded in a weekend interview at a college all-star game. The Raiders interviewed USC assistant head coach Steve Sarkisian, former Giants coach Jim Fassel and Raiders DC Rob Ryan for the position last week. ... Sarkisian remains an early favorite.
