Published reports had Dennis Green and San Diego receivers coach James Lofton interviewing for the Raiders' top job. The San Diego Union-Tribune, citing unnamed sources, reported Lofton was working on a contract to become coach. A source in team management, requesting anonymity because he is not authorized to speak on the record, said neither was at the Raiders' facility in Alameda on Tuesday.
