The Facts:
Cardinals' first-year coach Ken Whisenhunt has dismissed two members of Dennis Green's staff, OC Mike Kruczek and DL coach Larry Brooks, and has begun seeking permission from other teams to interview some of their assistants for openings.

Kruczek joined the Cardinals in 2004, Green's first season with the franchise, as the quarterbacks coach. He was promoted to coordinator midway through the 2006 season when Green reassigned then-coordinator Keith Rowen. Whisenhunt has requested permission from the Steelers to speak with receivers coach Bruce Arians, presumably about the job as Cardinals' OC. Arians, who is still under contract to the Steelers, has previous NFL coordinator experience.
