Bill Parcells has changed his mind before and could do it again. But the indications now are that he's planning to return for the 2007 season, according to NFL sources.

According to NFL Network insider Adam Schefter, the above-mentioned indications are multiple. For starters, Parcells is planning to attend this week's Senior Bowl practices to scout prospects; he has reached out to certain assistants around the league that he would like in Dallas; plus, a Cowboys official told Schefter that, while assistant coaches have taken the past week off, Parcells was in his office each day reporting to work as if there were another season to prepare for. ... While it's not etched in stone yet, those activities seem to fall in line with a return. Stay tuned.
