The Facts:
The Steelers have finally informed Vikings DC Mike Tomlin that they have in fact chosen him as their next head coach. Tomlin is slated to fly to Pittsburgh by tomorrow morning provided the two sides can work out a contract. The Steelers are expected to officially announce Tomlin as their coach Monday.

In addition to this report, the St. Paul Pioneer Press and NFL Network insider Adam Schefter are reporting the same. ESPN and SI.com are standing by their belief Tomlin is it. ... According to FOXSports insider Jay Glazer, Tomlin was originally scheduled to fly to Mobile, Alabama for the Senior Bowl but was asked by Pittsburgh brass to not get on the plane. Glazer further noted that calls to Tomlin have not been returned but sources close to the coach said he expects to be able to work out the terms of the contract with the Steelers by this evening. ...
