Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Kevin Colbert, the Steelers director of football operations, began phoning players Sunday night and informing them the team had hired Tomlin. This after team officials vacillated between Tomlin and Russ Grimm, the team's assistant head coach and offensive line coach. The Steelers decided not to wait for Bears DC Ron Rivera, the third finalist for the job, because he would not be available to be hired for another two weeks.
