Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to ESPN's Ed Weder, the current plan for replacing Bill Parcells is to determine whether Garrett can call plays, develop a scheme and manage the offensive coaching staff and the players -- particularly Terrell Owens. If it is determined that Garrett can handle those responsibilities, the Cowboys are expected to pursue San Diego DC Wade Phillips as HC. If Jones decides that Garrett is not ready to run an offense on his own yet, he could be paired with Norv Turner, who can handle the overall offense while holding down the HC spot. The long-term goal is said to be grooming Garrett to become HC.
