The Facts:
Dolphins owner H. Wayne Huizenga said the decision about whether Williams will be welcomed back on the team will fall to new HC Cam Cameron and GM Randy Mueller. "I don't know how Cam feels or Randy feels," Huizenga said on Tuesday. "Those guys will have to work that out."

In 2005, Huizenga gave the same power to decide Williams' fate to then-coach Nick Saban, who successfully talked the running back into returning after having retired prior to the previous season. During his time out of football, the Dolphins were awarded an $8.8 million judgment against Williams for breach of contract. Williams still owes the Dolphins the money but the franchise has not moved to collect it. Agent Leigh Steinberg said Williams wants to return to the Dolphins after being allowed to apply for reinstatement in April.
