The Facts:
Lewis confirmed yesterday that he had surgery a week ago to remove bone spurs from his right ankle and that those bone spurs slowed him during the 2006 season, especially in the first six games until he took injections to ease the pain.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Due a $5 million roster bonus on March 3, Lewis said team officials have not talked to him or his agent about picking up the option on his contract or asking him to sign a new deal. "I would like to stay [in Baltimore], finish what we started last season and go out on top," Lewis told Sun staffer Mike Preston. "If not, then I assume they have found someone who can do what I can do. Either way, I'm not too concerned. I can help some team. ..." At this point, most observers believe the Ravens will let Lewis move on and help somebody else.
