While Norv Turner remains the leading candidate to be the next HC of the Cowboys, Turner has made some stipulations to the team, including asking for control over choosing his staff. And it now looks like Turner would want Bears DC Ron Rivera, whose contract expires after the Super Bowl -- and who could emerge as an HC candidate in Dallas.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys interviewed 49ers assistant Mike Singletary on Tuesday and indications are that Singletary was very impressive in his interview. However, in his first public comments since Parcells retired Jan. 22, owner Jerry Jones said Wednesday he wouldn't have a decision on a new coach until next week. Jones added that none of the candidates interviewed so far -- including Wade Phillips and Gary Gibbs -- have been ruled out. ... Stay tuned.
