The Facts:
Shopping for a veteran quarterback to back up J.P. Losman, the Bills on Friday signed Holcomb. Terms were not disclosed. Holcomb, 31, spent the last four years with the Browns and started 12 of 19 games. In one of his two starts last season, Holcomb threw for 413 yards and five touchdowns in a 58-48 win at Cincinnati on November 28.
