The Facts:
Fitzgerald said on his Web site he spoke with Ken Whisenhunt Saturday night in Miami. Fitzgerald had said earlier that week he wasn't going to talk to Whisenhunt until mini-camp. "Hopefully this clears up any misconceptions created by both Arizona newspapers that painted a false, unfair picture during the week that was not true," Fitzgerald wrote.
