Cowboys Looking To Extend Tony Romo Again
(2/11 6:30 PT)

The Facts:
Less than one year ago, the Cowboys signed Romo to a one-year contract extension. Now, the Cowboys intend to do the same again. A Cowboys source said the team will try to sign Romo to another longer contract extension this season to prevent him from becoming a free agent after the '07 season. Reported by NFL.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As NFL Network insider Adam Schefter suggested, it won't be cheap to tie down and lock up a Pro Bowl quarterback long term, but owner Jerry Jones knows the value Romo brings. Romo might be able to get more money if he were to have another Pro Bowl year and hit the market. But Romo also feels a sense of loyalty to Dallas, the team that signed him as an undrafted free agent.
