The Facts:
The Vikings and Redskins have discussed a trade that would send Gardner to Minnesota, probably for a draft pick. Rob Brzezinski, Vikings vice president of football operations, would not comment specifically on Gardner but said, "We are looking at every way possible to improve our football team. That includes the possibility of a trade."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Gardner, the 15th overall pick in the 2001 draft, was given permission to seek a trade because he was unhappy with how the Redskins used him last season. Gardner caught 51 passes for 650 yards and five touchdowns last season.
